What I have said all along is that we lack P5 talent. I based that on recruiting rankings and the offer lists of players we signed. When you don't have a top 150 recruit in the program and the players you do have were mostly recruited by schools with directional names you are probably fielding a mid-major team.
We have one game under our belts so far. We played a team from a weak mid-major conference that was picked to finish in the bottom fourth of that conference. With 40 seconds left in the contest it was a one possession game.
Tonight we play an even weaker team from an even weaker conference. If we have another outing like last week then I think we will all have a good idea of what we have with this team.
