This is a case where it is a national case and you think this kid is someone whose politics is something you hate (remember, you find half the electorate reprehensible) and you admired the political leanings of the folks who were shot.
The morality of your stance begins and ends with those facts. It is your typical D vs. R paradigm where you assign moral virtue to one by default and moral deficiency to another by that same default.
