Ivermectin is safe and effective for the treatment of parasites at a dose of 0.2 mg/kg once. It has been proven safe at that dose.

The FLCCC advocates giving 3x the normal dose for a minimum of 5 days (longer if not recovered). There is no data that ivermectin is safe at a minimum of 15x the labeled dosing
