"special victim" laws. the people elected representatives who passed laws they believe were needed or were just.

i don't care one way or another. I don't think, for example, that there needs to be a separate crime of child abuse (although to be fair you can use phyiscal discipline legally on a child that would be assault on an adult) b/c it's really just assault. I don't think there should be hate crimes, b/c hate is a motive not a crime. I don't think there needs to be a separate law for assault on an LEO either.

i think all assaults should be vigorously prosecuted regardless of who the victim is. does that help you?
