Once that was discovered, northam had two choices:
1. Be exposed as the hypocrite, liar and intellectual lightweight he is and turn over the reigns of the state to someone else, or
2. Do EVERY FRIGGIN THING the radical marxists running the party told him to do.
He chose number two.
The party and their puppets in the media ignored the story and/or covered for northam. Had they been honest journalists (i won't even suggest that the Ds could be "honest politicians") they would have covered it with all the self righteous outrage that they save for use against sane people.
The choice was easy for northam; a man of weak character, low intelligence and lots of ambition and cowardice.
He was the walking, talking (lying) mouthpiece of the radical left in virginia.
And further entrenched the policies of the radical left which helps mcauliffe and the marxists in this race.
