that’s a good question, but yes. by and large the Church is a voluntary association (there are exceptions in the world). the evil is in the idea. it would be similar to socialist or communist associations under anarcho-capitalist, private law society. So long as it is voluntary and no one’s rights are infringed upon. It’s supporting the right and not the behavior/act. But I do think teachings that strip the self away from individual is evil
