Mckinney and Watson were way more athletic than him too, but they were basically useless to us. At least to date, guys like Mark Smith and Dru Smith who are not very athletic are the ones who play the key roles. Don't forget we had Cullen Vanleer playing big minutes not too long ago.

We definately put a premium on shooting ability. Like wu just responded even if Gordon absolutely sucks at shooting, he will most likely take a bunch of shots from that range anyway. There hasn't been many better shooters in recent program history than Mark Smith. I also suspect we are going to miss his defense and rebounding, both of which were very solid.
