or not?
Are laws like a restaurant menu where every customer can select which laws he or she will obey?
What if someone says defecating on the sidewalk is a right, you know, bodily functions are human rights.
What if someone decides stealing from walmart or CVS is a right?
What if someone decides that sex with a ten year old is a right.
They decide, unilaterally.
What about the person who step in the shlt on the sidewalk?
What about the small business who cannot afford all the shoplifters exercising their rights?
What of the ten year old who would prefer not to have sex with a 40 year old?
I know, let's have a group of people elected to make laws that everyone must obey.
That way, everyone would or should, know what the laws are and they would apply to everyone the same.
Nah, never mind. Some people may disagree with some of the laws and mistakes would likely be made in the implementation and enforcement of some of the laws. Let's abolish government totally.
That has worked perfectly everywhere it has been tried.
