You aren't called to just follow laws. You are called to rise above them in your heart. It isn't just enough to avoid murdering someone, you must also not hold anger towards someone.
God's commandments aren't legalism. God's word is to affect your heart. Your words and your thoughts, your attitudes are sinful, even if you follow the law.
