You accept 1 nickel of federal money and they own you forever.

To Sal’s point, schools, local police, fire departments and other entities are not federal issues and should not get a single dime of money.

Local school boards are a function of a local taxing authority and state education system set up to educate and fund same.

Taxes collected in North Carolina shouldn’t fund Kansas City or St Louis schools, ever. And the FBI shouldn’t have a single thing to do with any operation or issue with them either
