Agree IMO the coaching hires are the most important. While $$$ may get the occasional splash hire (plus assistants), like Jimbo Fisher, other coaches who show promise and win will attract more $$$ in terms of donations and attendance.
I imagine one could cut Bama's budget by 5$ million or so, get rid of a few "analysts" and probably not miss a beat. What else would Bama spend its money on? They could double Saban's compensation and he wouldn't be any more effective, he's already the GOAT with maximum effort and efficiency.
