They knew that the Hunter story would cost Joe votes so they claimed it was Russian misinformation. They knew that asking Joe real questions on the campaign trail would expose his deteriorating mental state so they gave him a pass for over six months. The mainstream press and social media giants wanted Trump gone and they made it happen.
Of course, they needed the assistance of several million incredibally stupid people. But they knew that Rask, Ace, JG and Meat come from a very large tribe.
