His personality is certainly grating, but that is simply a byproduct of his extreme lack of intelligence and insecurity. He is woefully incompetent and stupid, and combined with how lazy he is and an inability to learn things or understand how anything works is what made normal people dislike him.

He came very close on many occasions to absolutely collapsing our country based on his incompetency and intentions at only being self serving. America was correctly viewed as an absolute joke.

No offense cast specifically at you, but there is a very common thread among those who view him in consideration for the Best President ever. You will never find someone of semi-average intelligence who holds such a position and it is no way surprising to see the types of individuals who still support him and think he is capable of doing things like being President.
