Our current numbers are much higher, because hospitals, nursing homes, etc. all get paid more if the patient had covid.

So, if the motorcyclist is hit by a semi, it was the covid that killed him. Nor was it the patients COPD, obesity, massive other health issues.

in 1920, no obesity issues, or comorbidities like now.

Those folks just plain ended up dead, instead of being strung along like now with modern medicine, equipment.
