The media will cover for him, even applaud him, and Republicans are too feckless to pursue this. Interestingly, the only people pushing this will be the left-wing authors of the book and maybe the Washington post, just a little.

He may deal with this like a fart. It stinks, but the stench won’t last long and most people will pretend not to notice.
