why are the hospitals overflowing?

Is it because they're idiots and forced half their staff out the door because they're padding the bottom line or forcing vaccinations on them?
You know that hospitals runs very tight margins, especially in ICUs, correct?
Or is it because they've only had 18+ months to adequately plan for spikes of covid cases and they failed to do so because profit is more important?
Or is it because the medical industry as a whole has failed to use any and all possible therapeutics to avoid people getting sick enough they require hospitalization?
Or is it because they're counting any unvaccinated person who tests positive for covid as a 'covid' hospitalization even though the reason for being in the hospital has nothing to do with covid, skewing those 'unvaxxed' bed numbers higher?
Just some things someone who isn't getting paid per post by pfizer or moderna might ask before posting.
