If the people prosper, if regulations are eliminated, if tax rates are lower and businesses can hire more people so there are fewer unemployed, there will less money paid in welfare. Is that good?
Most people would think that is good for society and the country. You of course, on your anti-government high horse, think that’s terrible because the government will have more money as well.
I have railed against government spending as well. But because of what they spend it on, and the waste and corruption inherent in it, not because of the intrinsic evil of government.
Building roads and national defense are worthy expenditures. Obama phones, teaching critical race theory, and attempting to make everyone, “equal” is sheer folly and Marxism.
A strong wealthy government is, in and of itself, not a bad thing. The problem of course, is the people who control the government will control the money, and skim their, “fair share“ off the top.
They will pander for votes, Spending in gov’t money in the process. That of course deflates and even cripples the economy making everyone worse off, except the oligarchs at the top of the government pyramid.
Diversity, inclusion, equality and equity should not be primary objectives of government. Equality, but only in the legal sense.
You and The Idiot and the cult refuse to see the difference between the concept of government, and the implementation of government by corrupt bureaucrats and officials.
The solution as I have said here many times is in large measure, term limits.
The current situation gives us career politicians and… Joe Biden.
Term limits and temporary politicians gave us… Donald Trump.
