I know you guys have had this weird fantasy about VP Harris stepping up. It is not going to happen save a cataclysmic health crisis involving Joe Biden - who while pretty old and behaving like one who is pretty old - seems pretty fit for the most part.

That does not excuse this seemingly grievous error, but time will tell how this plays out.
