Of course there are 'no people'.

Everyone in the system is just doing their jobs, doing their best, and the vast majority are qualified, well-intentioned and highly-educated for the positions they hold.

Right?

And that's why tens of thousands of dead from the lethal injection is ok - sure, we'd prefer they not be dead, but it's a small price to pay for millions not getting the common cold.
