There have been a total of 121 Covid deaths in children age 5-14. That is in a year and a half of counting. Reports are that every single one of those had a serious comorbidity. Keep in mind that these numbers happened at the same time that 600k Americans were doing from the virus. You cannot dismiss it due to limited opertunities when the adults dying were similarly limited.

In an average year there are 100-200 flu deaths among children. So far, for children, Covid is less deadly than a mile flu season.
