No vaccine is 100% effective, none.
In highly vaccinated groups, the numbers of unvaccinated vs vaccinated cases will balance out. This is basic math. But the percentages of infected unvaccinated remain higher. This is the base rate fallacy.

You don't know the long term side effects of infection either. Those spike proteins people go on about are on the virus.
The general population has a 99.7% chance of not dying. That says nothing about hospitalizations. It says nothing about any other effects of infection. Nor does it say anything about whether your assumptions of your state of health are accurate.
