TV package and that is based on number of cable subscribers in any given state. Texas would not add any additional subscribers that aTm already delivers and Oklahoma doesn’t have enough subscribers to make that state attractive. The SEC has already stated that if expansion would happen, it would be to the east.

Also, an e-mail from DeLoss Dodds to Jim Delaney revealed that UT had “a Tech problem”, meaning that the Texas state legislature had ruled that UT could not join the B1G unless Texas Tech came along. The SEC, the B1G, or the PAC would never agree to Tech joining. Plus, OU can’t go anywhere without Okla St for the same reason.

This is pure bs.
