but here it goes:
as ever greater numbers of illegal aliens are flooding the border they are bringing more and more fentanyl & thus more is seized.
BUT only a percentage is seized. and if we are catching that much it means that much more is slipping in.
there were 93,000 overdose deaths last year up from 70,000 the year before and per the CDC fentanyl is the primary cause.
increased border security and tighter immigration policies result in fewer seizures b/c less is coming through.
I worked at the border, at the San Ysidro Port of Entry for a year on a counter-drug task force. but what do I know?
