The dispensational doctrine and the pre-millennial viewpoint are new interpretations made by those who wish to see themselves and their nation in an eschatological light. They also use it to confirm their prosperity gospel-lifestyle and avoid the teachings that if they truly are in Christ, they will suffer as he will and undergo tribulation.
