afternoon. I will try not to reveal the agency or the person with whom I spoke. I will call that person him, without declaring his or her sex or sexuality. “He” may have revealed more than he should have.

I called to complain about government services taking too long or not happening correctly. “He“ said that the inter-connectivity between various regional offices of his department caused the slow down. One office in particular, “has their own way of doing things“ and another office is having difficulty getting people to go back to work.

The government is paying them to stay home, so they stay home.

In any event, “he” was apologetic, gave a decent explanation, and described a poorly run government department that is the product of a poorly run government.
