1) race is a social not a biological construct(in regards to humans)

2) racism was baked into the United States on a systematic basis -you know things like blacks being a 3/5 of a person.

Neither are particularly controversial and certainly nothing to spend time arguing about it.

As an aside it appears only racists are opposed to teaching it
