No one is trying to restrict the rights of responsible gun owners. I come from a background of people that all owned guns, hunting, and trap shooting etc. Some were even gun collectors. The fact that the drive by shootings take place are do to music and videos glorify it and a culture that is so paranoid that they think that they need a gun for self defense. We do have to look at statistics of criminal activity with a firearm in the USA vs other countries with more restrictive gun control laws. The United States is just a hedonistic country and the citizens are more interested in their own pleasure vs what is better for the community. If you would be described as a gun owner that wants to own an AR15 and want to carry it openly then you are one of those hedonistic people as well and are part of the problem.
