The star spangled banner was written in 1814.

Slavery was abolished in 1865.

The star spangled banner was adopted as our national anthem in 1931.

The civil rights act and the "end" of Jim Crow were in 1964.

Not sure it's super shocking black america doesn't love that national anthem.

Instead of abolishing it, singing "Lift every voice" seems like a reasonable compromise.
