think for yourself. Read various opinions and the research they have done and willing to share. Seek out people you have a bit of trust in that are less biased.

One thing I do like about this board is that many points of view are shared. Since most people have a posting history, one can understand at least the initial bias that is coming from them as part of that reading.

I tend to get more GOP leaning stuff from here, and more Democrat leaning stuff from Facebook friends. When it comes to other issues (Ag, trade, economy, science stuff), I will do a mix of CNBC, and information I get through my work sources.
