If Putin is smart, at the meeting tomorrow he will let Biden

Have a victory.
A little victory, a largely inconsequential victory but one that he and the media can proclaim to be the greatest thing since VE day.
Maybe he can release the American prisoners in Russia, and say that stuttering Joe was just too formidable a negotiator for Putin to keep them.
Meanwhile, in the meeting without cameras or reporters, stuttering joe will give away the keys to the store.
The media will be totally uncurious about what other deals/concessions were made.
Putin should not shout his victory from the rooftops but make it seem like a mutually beneficial arrangement. It will be nothing of the kind of course, but even with Joe Biden as president, this is still America. He may not want to plss us off too much.
It’s embarrassing enough to have stuttering Joe and chuckles the veep leading this country, if he rubs our noses in it, he would not only be boorish an ungracious, he would be politically stupid. America is like a big stupid gorilla with these idiots leading us. An especially big, especially powerful, and especially stupid gorilla. Putin should want to control the gorilla not make it angry.
Frankly, I’m not sure how smart Putin is. He is big into macho, and may want to show how tough he is.
