expectations. Rask and his friends that practice this form tell people, mostly children, that they are not good enough or smart enough to be held to the same expectations as everyone else. What makes this form so damaging is that it usually comes from people who have first convinced AAs that they are friends and just there to help.
Ultimately which of the following from the 60's had a greater impact on AA families, KKK activities or LBJ's Great Society? The Klan was responsible for a number of deaths and terrorized people but at the time of their reign the AA family was intact. The Klan did not destroy AA families, LBJ and his Great Society along with it's successors were responsible for that. The Klan has zero impact on AA lives today outside the few that actually believe white nationalist have any power. LBJ and his programs are still impacting millions of AA families today.
