shutting down the pipeline. Prices may seem high now but that's a temporary response to curtailed production trying to keep up with post CV19 demand increase. Once drilling and production are in full swing, expect oil prices to drop. Having a ****load of Canadian oil hitting the market when the pipeline is complete would depress prices even further with predictable results in the petroleum industry.

I don't agree with shutting down Keystone (it was a silly move made for solely political reasons), but it will slow the flood of oil back into the market over the next few years.
