say thanks to my white friends here on Tigerboard. Your empathy and generosity never ceases to amaze me. You and your ancestors have created a nation that’s the envy of the modern world. I wouldn’t even be here had my ancestors not been given free transportation here. Not to mention the fact they were provided room and board at no cost to them upon their arrival. My black family and I never lose sight of the fact that were it not for the generosity of white people, we’d still be in Africa running from lions, crocodiles, and machine gun fire. I don’t know how I can even begin to repay this debt, but I’ll spend the rest of my life trying.
