When the Ukraine Gov't was conducting a criminal investigation of Burisma, then VP Joe Biden threatened to withhold U.S. foreign aid unless Ukraine closed the investigation and fired the investigators. Ukraine folded the investigation and fired the investigators. Joe Biden recounted the story, admitting his threats in an open and bragging manner. The Biden's Ukraine scandal is hardly baseless.
