left us wondering what she was smoking.
Her whole story is full of holes. She makes it sound like
she gave me the diagnosis and that I had no clue.
I was able to feel the impaction which is why with the limited money they had I did not recommend an x-ray but rather fluids which might have done some good.
The next day the scraped some money and demanded an x-ray
. I patiently explained that if that is all they could afford it would be just a waste of money. But that is what the owner demanded (I'm guessing at the advice of the un present busybody). I recommended if they had no other money to euthanize the dog, or give it another round of fluids. But no.
naturally it all became my fault.
as a footnote: they did not file a complaint because that takes a really special kind of stupid (of which I ran across a few of those) to be so wrong.
The best one was where I fixed a leg on a cat, the cat
stopped limping, but the idiot filed a complaint because in his mind I should have fixed the other one. You can't nake this up
