they gave Seattle an offer they had to refuse. You are correct in why Schultz sold, but my original reply to you is the only correct answer in the end. Schultz hadn't owned the team for 2 years before they moved. And (I would know) the ownership team had no intention of buying the team only to keep it in Seattle.
