Have seen 2 that big. One was just crossing off the road on J Hwy south of Fremont, MO. The other had been killed by a couple of canoe haulers on the road to Pulltite. I offered to skin it for them and they didn't want the meat. Another Ranger had gone fishing on her day off and had a hot frying pan full of grease and cornmeal/flour mix for breading so we cut it into chunks and fried up some rattlesnake.
