from cops? Do they really think that protects them from anything except a civil lawsuit? Are they so ungodly stupid that they believe bad cops are immune from criminal prosecution due to 'qualified immunity'?

The people (and their ambulance chasing lawyers) know the 'deep pockets' in a civil suit does not come from a cop...the 'deep pockets' come from the city/county/state.
