and poster.
Our government has been spying for decades, and the Patriot Act took that to a whole new level. The Patriot Act was basically fully supported by both parties as well as each of its renewals, and set up FISA (which has a very weak review process), as well as better coordination of spying both domestically and internationally.
There seems to be a lot of proof that government will manufacture data (or allow in manufactured data) and then tout that data as evidence for various actions.
I think Pickle has also pointed out well when the government does undercover/covert stuff, it becomes quite blurry as to who is actually planning and coordinating "attacks" and how much of that would have truly occurred, or was it government doing much of the coordination so they could have an arrest right before it happened.
This deep state has been slowly getting exposed, and Trump vowed to take it on. He went after the part that tried to go after him, but then used it to his own advantage as well, and did nothing to stop the system, and as I said..he signed its extension without even any new checks and balances.
So when it comes to "security" issues..yes..I believe it to be a system issue in which both R and D fully participate in it.
Thanks to Trump, spending also seems now to be the exact same thing...thanks to his trillions in extra spending.
