is given an order to do something he doesn’t want, like attack an enemy position, should be allowed to just decline.
Especially the colored soldiers. Colored people who are told what to do, and obey, “subserviently“ are like slaves. That’s racist. Colored soldiers should be able to do whatever they want. And white soldiers who prefer not to obey orders should just leave the battlefield.
