to be in the 1588. It would be impossible for them just to be trump voters and 3rd party voters. We also know that when they do a sample for polls, they use more democrats for some reason.
The failure I see is in the last 5 presidents, crime was never the top issue. Now you could say terrorism is a form of crime, but that was always separate. It took his party and their policies at the local and national level to change that.
So if you want to defend him, go a head, but it is still a fact that he is the first President since Carter or Regan that people polled said crime is the biggest issue in the country. not the economy, terrorism, race relations or foreign powers.
