My team started up 1/2/2000. 6th floor 12th and Main. You goddamned right it existed. When I started we were selling T-1s for as high as $1,400 a month. That is 1.5 Megs for those wondering. Today Google Fiber provides me 100 Megs for $30 in Brookside. I remember selling a 3 Meg connection to the Institute for Advanced Studies at Princeton though my guy there had told me that AT&T, Verizon and (yes) MCI had better prices. There you go. Sprint Data devolved into selling cell phones by 2005 about the time I jumped to Freightquote.
