that is on death row should be able to request any DNA be run through the system. They are on death row it's not like the testing has to be done immed1atly. It is unconscionable for a man to be executed and then find DNA evidence that was always there could have exonerated him.
What is the point of entering it into the database now? Even if it shows someone else was responsible how would you ever convict when someone else was convicted and executed for the murder? Would you even need a law degree to raise reasonable doubt?
