Computer tech support scams

I get at least 4 scam calls a month. Sometimes computer support, sometimes credit card "alerts" from companies I don't have a credit card with, sometimes people claiming to be Apple or Amazon account reps. (I don't do any business with Apple.).
I remember getting a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft support. I checked the Microsoft website. They state clearly they never call on the telephone.
Interesting story. They prey on the vulnerable.
