any time "public health officials broadly agree" is a huge red flag that some politically and/or idealogy driven decisions are being made to achieve a specific goal that has nothing to do with public health.
It's also not about medicine, science or data.
I'm reminded of that everytime I drive on Grand and see the St. Louis University College of Public Health AND SOCIAL JUSTICE.
