There whole philosophy is the same. They both want big government solutions. They just each pick different topics in which to solve. For those that they agree on (in last year's case, CV relief), the solutions get bigger....and they never dial it back.
9-11 - both agreed a big problem...so we get Department of Homeland Security and TSA as well as Iraq war
Housing crisis..auto bailouts, buyback of clunkers, bank reform
Immigration crisis so far has been handled through EOs, with both sides calling for more government.
War on Drugs..both sides agree, although Dems cave on weed...mostly because of tax $$$$, not really freedom.
The behavior is the exact same by both parties, and you fully support, but try to deny it.
