accident that I was involved in, why they needed my ssn. I told her I wasnt going to apply for a job with the force, they certainly didnt need to determine if I was employed or what my salary was, so why the need. She looked at me and responded, Because there is a space for your SSN and if you do not provide it, I may have to arrest you for not complying with an officer during an investigation. Yes I gave it to her at that point, but what a bunch of crap!
