The reports on deaths in police custody that were produced during Dr. David Fowler's time as Maryland's chief medical examiner will be subject to a state review after his court testimony about George Floyd's death. Testifying in the trial of Derek Chauvin, who was convicted of murder and manslaughter, Fowler said the former Minneapolis police officer was not responsible for Floyd's death and that the manner of death should have been certified as "undetermined."
