My fear is being a Freshman, he will be too weak and too green to give more then 10-12 productive minutes. He may play 20 - but that won't be good, IMO, as non 5 star bigs usually take a couple of years to develop.
MU needs a big that has at least a year of *plentiful* PT at a Mid-Major or higher - that is SEC caliber. Not sure how many of those guys are out there.
Brazile is like Keita - a Freshman you have no clue what he will give you in any given game. Kobe is too undersized to play inside regularly. Wilmore? The dude logged 8 minutes this year. If Mizzou is going to go more up-tempo, then Wilmore is a complete non-factor. Just too big.
I am intrigued by Coleman, Davis & Gordon. But, without a big who can give 20-25 MPG minimum, this team will be destroyed come Conference play.
Still 2 players that can be signed. I am hopeful that CM can catch lightning in a bottle - but not expecting it. Even if he does, I'm not sure it will matter.
He is a *terrible* X's & O's coach in-game. Iffy on player development, and "up-tempo" for him is not really Up-Tempo.
He better hit a Home-Run with his transfers/Freshmen Class or this guy is toast. I like Martin as a person - he has a Mizzou vibe to him. I still want him to succeed - but he needs to recruit better *OR* coach better, and I really don't see the coaching thing improving a whole lot at this point, given his 10+ years dong this as a HC...
