the GF trial all have the same information, testimony, etc. available to them, but yet come up with diametrically opposed conclusions.

I purposefully have not watched any of the trial, watched videos, etc as a sort of observation experiment and thus don't currently have an strong opinion on whether today's verdict was 'right' or 'wrong', either in a moral sense or legal sense.

I've seen this same phenomenon play out in other arenas, and it's fascinating to me.
